Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Because December 8 falls on a Sunday this year, the celebration of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is transferred to Monday, December 9.

Even though the solemnity is transferred, it remains a Holy Day of Obligation.

On Monday, December 9, there will be Masses at 8:00 am, 12:15 pm, and 5:15 pm.

There cannot be a Vigil Mass for the Immaculate Conception because the Second Sunday of Advent takes precedence.
