Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on Dec. 8
Saturday, Dec. 8 is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and it is a Holyday of Obligation. Masses for the holyday will be celebrated as follows:
- Friday, Dec. 7: 7:00 pm – Solemn Vigil Mass
- Saturday, Dec. 8: 8:00 am – Mass (Extraordinary Form) and 12:15 pm – Mass
For those attending the 12:15pm Mass, please note that the Steubenville Christmas Parade is at noon and 4th Street will be closed. You should be able to access the church parking lot via Fifth Street to Dock, or Logan Street to the alley and come in behind the office/rectory.
The 4:00 pm Mass on Saturday, Dec. 8 will be the Vigil Mass for the 2nd Sunday of Advent, not a Mass for the Immaculate Conception.
