Call for Pontifical Servers

Bishop Jeffrey M. Monforton is inviting high school students in grades 10-12 (or older) to join the ranks of the Pontifical Servers of the Diocese of Steubenville.

Pontifical Servers serve at the altar of the Lord and assist the Bishop when he celebrates Mass as well as other episcopal ceremonies.  Pontifical Servers are also called upon to serve at the various special Masses the Bishop celebrates during the liturgical year, such as ordination Masses and the Chrism Mass.  In addition to the age requirement, he must be a regular participant in the sacraments, have the permission of his parents/guardians (if he is below 18 years of age), and have the recommendation of his pastor.  For more information and to request an application, please see your pastor.

Applications are due to the Bishop’s Master of Ceremonies by November 6th.
